RBS SUPPORT FOR REEDS WEYBRIDGE RUGBY
The Royal Bank of Scotland is a major supporter of sport in local communities and Stuart Lancaster, Head Coach of the England side is one of their sporting ambassadors. He helped Richard Truett, one of Reeds Minis coaches to raise £4000 to invest into improving the coaching capability at the club.
Richard, along with many other parents provide their free time to help local youngsters from under 6 to the under 21 youth side sharpen up their skills. Richard Truett commented
‘Our commitment to Reeds rugby is massively rewarded when we see the pleasure the youngsters get from the sessions we run and the success we enjoy in the local rugby festivals, there are some highly qualified coaches at the club and this investment will enable us to raise the bar even further’
TRIBUTE - GERALD BOWTHORPE
" I had the pleasure of watching Gerry Bowthorpe play for the O.W`s in their heyday as well as the privilege of getting to know him when he started the O.W. Minis. I cannot possibly add to the words of the last paragraph of the Tribute to Gerald.”
