URGENT MESSAGE - SCHOOL OF RUGBY TRAINING SESSIONS
Dear All,
Due to the severe weather conditions, unfortunately we have had to take the decision to cancel tonights school of rugby session at Reigate (30/11/2009) The pitches are waterlogged with standing surface water.
At present the Sussex session at Brighton RFC will be going ahead. We will email any Sussex boys separately if this changes.
We are also experiencing problems with our mail server, and are currently unable to send messages to hotmail/msn accounts. Could you please therefore spread the word ASAP and as far as possible about tonights cancellation to any school friends/club teammates etc who would have been attending just in case the message does not get through.
Thank you very much.
Next session will be Monday 14th December – weather permitting!
Helen Grant SOR

SURREY U16’S SIGN OFF FOUR FROM FOUR.
Surrey U16’s finished off another impressive season with a very tight victory against Kent to remain unbeaten again this season. On an excellent playing surface at Imber Court, Surrey started well and were first on the score board. There was some good rugby by both teams and this made for a enjoyable first half with Surrey leading 12/0. A very fired up Kent side lined up for the second half and one could feel the tension building with Kent gaining the advantage in scrum and line out. Some solid defence by Surrey kept Kent at bay, but our penalty count was rising. A quickly taken penalty resulted in a try in the corner for Kent. With the crowd behind them Kent were now pushing hard and were soon rewarded with a second try. With the score at 12/10 only some excellent defence and good run of the ball, meant that a 12/10 victory was good reward for a hard night’s rugby for Surrey.

SURREY U16s REMAIN UNBEATEN.
Surrey U16s enjoyed another victory against Sussex in a graded fixture played at Crawley RFC. Sussex were unable to match the pace and forward drive shown by a very fired up Surrey side. The forwards worked hard and were rewarded with 2 first half tries. Not to be out done the backs had the upper hand in the second half, moving the ball wide Sussex were unable to match the pace of the Surrey back line and 2 further well worked tries and a late gifted try for Sussex left 29/5 on the scoreboard.
Surrey U16s final graded fixture is Kent on the 25th November at Imber Court @ 7.00 p.m.
FINAL SCORE 29/5.
