The Surrey Cup was first played for in 1891 and won by the long-gone Lennox FC. In 1909 the competition ceased, but was revived in 1971 and won by Guildford and Godalming. With the advent of leagues Surrey split the competition into 3 levels but this year for the first time in over 100 years the premier cup has been open to all Surrey clubs' 1st XVs.
